Legislative function in any good Democratic society cannot be overemphasis, for a better society. The legislative consists box member from various constituency (Departments) who represent the interest of the immediate colleagues.

Today, the Union executives and the Senate council meet in full house to have a peaceful discussions on way to promote good working relationship between the two arm if government.

The Executives council was lead to the sitting by the Executive President, Comr. Murtala Saheed (Sheedor Aluta) and the Senate council was lead in by their chief Parliament officer, Senator Abanise Ismail (Abanice).

The meeting which started with an opening prayer, and the introduction of each members present.

“It is very important to know that good relationship is required by he two arm so as to move the Union forward and to achieve greatly within the little time frame available for this administration”, the executive President said.

“For no man can achieve success in life without hard work”, the Senate council has also made their commitment known for the growth of the institution without giving headache to the survival of this administration.

However, the Senate President admonished the executives to be watchful in their activities, and to make sure they work in accordance with the rules started in the Union constitution, to avoid time to time rift between them.

As the Senate council and executives council will be an ally in progress, we hope for better collaboration from the entire students of the Polytechnic.
